Those stinky sharks are Threatening Our Way of Life with their backward looking prehistoric ways.
We need a Coalition of the Willing to bomb the shit out of the ocean.
It's the only approach that makes sense to me.
Erase.

I'm going to start hanging out with Orca.
It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again

Surfed a local point this morning.

GWS spotted near there just after I got out.

Cops and boats cleared the water, beaches closed again. Head high point surf with clear warm water on a sunny day with no-one in the water.

Can't pretend this isn't happening.

According to "Ballina Shark Reports" on FB, they've posted the following:

"All beaches in Ballina/Lennox are now closed after 4 * GWs around 4m long have been spotted around Lennox/Boulders Beach....also a 5m GW was just spotted at Broken Head".

Definitely more activity and sightings of GWS.

This place has always been sharky, but mostly from bull sharks during the mullet run.

This is a whole new world order now.

If we all padded out with explosive devices built into ya wettie..sharkie bites and BOOOM...blow a few of them up and the word will get around pretty quick.
And to answer the skeptics, no sharkie...no boom, so it really would allow one to feel totally safe and enjoy the serenity that surfing is. especially in the knowledge that if the worst happens you will live forever in the green room surrounded by a shit load of virgins knowing 'ol shark is chum. :-)(
Oh, and call it Fin Control System, that way Macquarie Bank will sponsor it :B

Bloody hell. I'm heading up that way in a couple of weeks. Should I be overly worried?
Was planning to head out anywhere between the border and Ballina.
Maybe I should head to crowded spots.

Do you ever see GWS when there is daylight saving?

I think there is a lesson to us all in that.

No daylights savings in QLD and no shark problem.

I think you've cracked the case CTD.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I bet all these sharks have been benefiting from the whale bounceback, I mean it makes sense time-wise, we stopped killing humpbacks in 1962, by the 1990s numbers were beginning to creep up again, sharks breed pretty slowly, so it's taken some time for these adolescent beasts to come on the scene.

It is surely only a matter of time before some genius suggests whale hunting/culling as a shark control mechanism.
