You're talking to a guy who just sold a surfboard for a quarter of a million dollars. He's not going to waste time fcuking around down south.
Whatever.

Just giving you shit Roy. I wish you the best. You believe in what you do, and what you do you do very well.

Which was getting a board down to the deep South for use now, rather than waiting for you to get your 40K...
Board could be getting actual wave riding exposure now.
Cheapest big wave location in the world for you to send a board to.
A few photos could come of it.
Photos of riders on board in big waves rather than passport photos of big-wave riders on the crowdfunding page may give a little more incentive for people to invest their money in your vision of a future utopia of big wave riding.
The catch is the Leroy isn't replying.
What, Its been 24 hours! Young people these days...

Why are these boards so much better than regular gun shapes?

I've done a bit of explanation of why I think they are better on the campaign videos, there's one on the front page and a few on the updates: http://igg.me/at/Ghost-riders/x/4763631

Leroy Rust replied and is interested in having a go, I hadn't talked to him before he seems like a very good fellow.

Bells is all good, a nice wave to warm up on I'd say.

Lol big ups for using your name, unlike many of the weevils out there. The interview doesn't quite read like the Battery of old, perhaps a hint of the edgy witty surf journo stereotype in there, so don't forget your roots in the Great Rarks of Surf.co. Good work anyway.

One question though: If a frigging handbag or a piece of canvas can be art then why not a surfboard?

Never mentioned surfboards just writers talking about surfing... Battery grew up alittle and fell into the narcissistic wanna-be writer trap or as you call it edgy witty... that and the fact that me mum might read it.
At the least you will have some new cannon fodder to fill in the dark hours.
