Windansea Club (organisers of the long running Pa and Ma Bendall comp) on the Sunshine Coast has won a court battle against protestors of it's council approved clubhouse.


Interesting reading here. The two main protagonists aren't even local residents but they suckered in a bunch of others to go along with them. Estimated costs are somewhere close to a quarter of a million bucks.

Most of the Club's costs including solicitors and barrister were volunteered.

How's the comment, "The Club's facebook site indicates consumption of alcohol is a large part of the Club's culture".
Apparently didn't go down too well with the Court.
