Pure class. Effortless, stylish, yet radical.

I used to have a few of his other early movies on video. They were selling cheap as the changeover to DVDs was happening. Barefoot Adventure had a bit of OZ footage including PHIL Edwards free boarding in the Tweed River.
I've got 3 or 4 of his early ones. Converted th VCRs to digital a while back before I threw out my VCR.

These things look right up my street for what I’m after.

CI Peregrine.

Anyone ridden one?

Looks like every other higher volume shorty that every shaper does.

Someone else said it on here that someone sneezing in the next suburb will snap a CI.

I wouldn’t get a CI for that reason. I’d get a locally made custom, something similar, and make sure it’s good materials.

The peregrine is nice. It’s Like a blend of an Eighties thruster and modern HPS. That’s what appeals to me.

i got a good mate on a Black and white, and he loves it. best board ever he reckons.

he's a super competent surfer (and water photog) ... he's getting older and wanted to keep his wave count up and was buying these fun board shapes with wider noses.

got him on a 6'2 B&W (he's 6'1") and he loves it. out paddles his funboard with the wide point forward, lower entry rocker, but then has this tail lift that gets him spinning tight turns in the pocket. has enough overall rocker to use when the waves get bigger & good too – ie 6ft and fast

Ok. So it’s essentially the CI Peregrine w/o the channels.

The 6’2 stock dims would be bang on the money for me.

I’m kinda drawn to the Peregrine still. As I love the projection/speed of a channel bottom down the line.

If you want a channel bottom, you can't go past a Dale Wilson Byrning Spear.

Channels are for clean, down the line waves. At least thats where they sing the loudest.

Go the b&w and you'll get more out of it.
