Would be a good nth wall board imo.... if the banks ever got themselves organised again.
The Arrant Piffle. An ideal board for bowly lefts and rights.

You'll make turns that you once thought were complete nonsense.

Arrant piffle sounds like when a drunk Nazi comes back to the hostel and pisses on the floor of the ladies bathroom.

These S-Wings fins look a trip. Anyone tried them? Look pretty drivey coming out of turn.

Yep. It's a shit contest. With Trestles you know your gonna have some contestable waves but it's like 2 ft Snapper.
The only comps worth watching are those in waves that Iggy would surf.

Pro surfers bogging rails and doing filler cutties in 1 foot trestles? sounds like they should be on mini mals out there!

I probably would have preferred watching either one of those venues boys.

Interesting article from Nick, if you are interested in the WSL's recent management recruitment and external business consultancy engagement.

One thing about Joe Carr that Nick omitted from his piece was his very successful shepherding of the sale of UFC to WME-IMG for 4billion and his promotion of the first UFC bout on Mainland China.

Either or both of those outcomes would be extremely attractive propositions to the WSL management and Ziff.

It's a series, I'm "building a house" as they say in the commentary

It's interesting.

Has Joe been bought in to fatten the calf for sale?

With his background in private equity that will very much be his instinct.

But first they need a saleable product.
Hence the very big changes to the tour.

Joe is not the CEO. I get the sense though that I have met people like him, killer salespeople basically. They do not stop until the job's done, then they keep going. But they do the boss's bidding, always.

True, but he wasn't CEO of UFC either.

We'll see.

This is a bold strategy and it could go any which way.

It's super bold! I still don't really know why anyone other than surfers would ever wanna watch it though.
