I like the twinny feeling but I've never really tried to master the full twin feeling. I had a MR mega twin but rode it with a trailer and the Quartet is a twin with two trailers.

Just got a little tax refund, was going to put it towards a holiday with the kids, think I'll buy some Rasta keels instead. :-D-:

BTW I have futures Controllers I don't use as I don't have futures boxes. Anyone wants a lend happy to stick in the post.
Ah futures. I've nearly pulled the trigger on a tt a few times, in the cart off board cave etc but the rasta keels are so highly rated and I've only got fcs keels. Dimensions wise they're quite similar ( and I have 2 sets to play with ) and I'm sure mine would work fine, just not 100% about it. I dunno why, I don't surf anything like rasta

You don't drink enough before you look at surfboard sites.

"To grovel or not to grovel? This is the question"

Of late when it's been 1-2ft I've been riding my 6'3 CV2 fish or my DVS All Rounder (7'4) . They aren't really meant for the small stuff, a few lads on here would say the CV2 needs juice, the All Rounder is an incredible board that really has a 2-5ft range.

Question is do you keep riding a board like the CV2 and try to make is work in small weak waves. It works but you work and ultimately you remain surf fit. The All Rounder in small stuff is a fun cruiser that turns, nose rides etc...or

Does one buy a full short board groveller for ease of paddling and get a little shortboard turning arc...sorter best of both worlds?

Put some side bites from your 7'4" as rears in your CV2 and try that it out. Or twins in the front and no rears.
Keep riding it. It will work, still far less effort than a lot of other boards.

Around 5'10".I've still got boards to offload first though. Trying to wait til I'm getting wet more often. But if I found the cash i reckon I'd have one.

Recommendations for a waterproof digital watch for surfing that's under $100 that "lasts" and won't fog up if taken in the shower ? Can't be bothered taking a watch on and off, once it's on it fkn stays on.
g-shock on special $60 approx

If the aim of a surf mag is to make the reader want to go surfing, this bloody issue is working a treat.
Thanks Crabmeat, you manipulative bastard.

Did he mention the motivation of his many Realsurf friends?

Well there's a nod to the Islamic State for Dummies on the editors note. Carroll gets a mention with a amusing quote about Chopes

Making it, got me looking into flights to NZ and pricing a van to live in for 3 weeks.

Uncrowded bliss awaits!

I found a spot over there with good fishing, amazing produce, good surf and close enough to an airport.

Unfortunately it has worse weather than Sweden and the inhabitants share a set of teeth.

I left. Not going back. Weather is a main determinant of mood.
