well the Australian east coast is about to experience its best run of summer swell in at least a decade. Might actually run all the way to the new year. Everywhere will be lit up to its optimum at one point or other during this period.

I cannot wait to hear about everyone's adventures.

Wiser heads will counsel caution.

This first system now looks to cross the coast somewhere around the QLD border, bringing onshore gales.

that could destroy sandbanks along prime point break stretches.

yes, tons of swell incoming.

as far as quality goes, there's some big question marks if the storm track ends up being coastal.

we've had 10 months of high quality sand here on the Point, that will be done and dusted by Sun night.

whats left will determine wave quality from here to NYE.

the general rule though is close range storm systems rip the sand out and deposit it wide.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Holiday parking may be an issue for many. Just about every available bit of accomodation on the east coast is booked.
Watch for petrol prices hiking. There's going to be some crowded surf.
