Could someone confirm.

Thanks foamy. Although it’s actually just above that that Steve is referring to. On the Ballina forecast it says Breaking wave height but on the Lennox one it says Swell height (although I think this has been changed in response to this thread. I’m pretty certain that when I looked earlier it said Breaking wave height as Steve is suggesting)

Ok, I’ve worked out what’s going on. If you’re on the magic seaweed model then the graph says Breaking wave height even though it isn’t forecasting that. If you change the model to NOAA or Proteus it just says Swell height

On Magic Seaweed right now under Lennox head surf forecast there is a graph forecasting surf tomorrow at Lennox of 5.5ft (breakijng wave height).

Do you accept this as a forecast for surf here tomorrow for me to compare against?

Is that adequate evidence?

No Steve because it’s not forecasting Breaking wave height. It’s a typo, a lack of flexibility in the machine, a glitch. I admit that it is shit that they have that on their Lennox forecast but it’s clearly an error - just compare foamy’s screenshots. If you want to do a wave height check then you have to go off the Ballina forecast
