For the record, I totally don't hate Torren. I'm just envious of his lifestyle and his ability to live on a yacht for a year without getting seasick, and surf waves that I'll only ever see in YouTube clips and travel to parts of the world that I'll... wait a minute, maybe I do hate Torren!

Yeah, more envious of his lifestyle and surf style than 99% of the Pros. I reckon being on the circuit on the bottom half would wear thin very quickly. Then again I’m not a competitive type of person.*

Always found it sucked on a rockered out shortboard.

This seems like a green light to give it another go, but on a midlength.

Needless to say, it’s not normally that good. A slow, cruisey, longer board type wave. It can be quite hard to get waves with a crusty older crew of regulars. Popular with tradies.
