Hey interesting situation with Voice referendum. Looks like Albo backed that the younger population, assumed to be all so called progressives, would back him. It seems there’s a sense of apathy, probably being saturated by the Yes vote celebrities, scare mongering by the right and witnessing those f”cking white idiots like Mansell and Thorpe get a platform. But, mainly and sadly, as soon as it seemed ok to vote NO people seem to be taking that option.

I'm curious to see what you guys think. Why do you think the Voice may fail? For the record I'm a YES voter as an inference of self-determination is better than none. Colonial based constitutions can't appreciate the complexity of a different race of people partially practicing white customs.

So why may it fail? Have the progressive young given up on Albos brave new world? Are the psychological sores of a penal colony past too great to heal? Why were the lefties so wrong? Where we tricked by misinformation and if so, are we a stupid and comfortably racist country?

PS: The old Hamas have poked the bear, sure they've got legit grievances but, they are about to be pulverised. Probably about bringing Iran into the scene. Not bad for the US economy though as it languishes as people start to buy US dollars, Brent Crude etc. Hmmmmmmmmmm I wonder.

Re: The Voice….we will see what the actual vote is but the mobilised disinformation campaign and lazy journalism from mainstream media has taken its toll. Still more young voters in support than older ones and more tertiary educated people in favour as well. Plus 80% of indigenous people of course.
Albo is a shithouse campaigner and only got in because ScaMo was revealed to be a cnut. Shorten should have won the time before. All the Libs were expecting it but ScuMo was a good campaigner.
Campaigning has Fcuk all to do with government apart from getting there. Negativity and scare campaigns win.
