There should be a rule that chastens stand up surfers who hold the rail for extended periods of time on a wave. It’s semi body boarding. It’s cheating.

Absolutely. I saw Nathan Florence saying JJF told him, you’ve got to let go of the rail. Imagine how’d you go at the skate park if you were locked on to the rail. You’d be ridiculed.

I mean, fine, do it, but you might as well try kneeboarding.
