Caught the last few heats. What a nice looking wave. Tyler destroyed it.

What he said, that wave looks ideal to get the kinks out of my surfing.

its an insane spot when on but doesn't break well too often. When its good you can't park anywhere near the joint even if you want to surf it.

As the tide drops there is a section of reef just on the inside that sticks up just above the water surface. Its like three coral heads or so. If you watch some heats you may see the girls either turn around it, float above and over it or hit it and go ass over breast. On the screen it will be hard to see but it there. Fun Fun

They at least give a score for some balls?

If your hands leave the rails of your board it's deemed a score-worthy ride.

what's the big deal, they give men .17s for blowing takeoffs all the time.

just tried to watch a replay of the final. Found myself utterly bored and turning it off within minutes. Its not the girls surfing. Its all the sitting around in the water and the utterly lame commentary. I find it rather painful. For some reason Martin Potter gives me the sh1ts, not to mention the other seppo twurp next to him.
Think I will just go to the highlights instead. I tried.
Again nothing against the chicks surfing. The men's can be just as painful with all the waiting around. Not much they can do about it though. Just highlights to me why surfing comps are not made for TV.
