Yeah, there's a crew who surf the bombie regularly, they mostly have guns in the 8'-9' range

Clan house, the best I've seen. The women graciously let me in and allowed some photos, not others, couldn't really figure the logic as to why.

That's it, I'm done for a while. Bummer about the cropping though, a lot of people see only half of the frames.

One last pic, Cranked and partner, marriage ceremony, Legian kaja, November 1983. Oh, she's scottish, not Indonesian.

Just one more then:

Good pics Cranked.
That one of the guesthouse at Impossibles, with the guy wading in the water out front just reminded me of my last visit back in August.
My wife and I blundered into that guesthouse on the far left, just before the owner asked us to leave we were rubbernecking and found out that the vertical structure on the far left is going to be a lift shaft for guests. :-D-: right onto the mostly non existent beach.

Hahahaha. I bumped into the owner earlier this year when he was down on the beach leading a bunch of sycophantic underlings, I was just getting out of the water and he buttonholed me and told me I would soon have the wonderful opportunity to stay at his establishment and be whisked down and up from the surf break. Hey that's great, pay $300 a day to save 200 odd steps. Yeah, ugly and useless; surfers don't care and there's a beach for maybe an hour or two a day.

Man I love Bali.

As much as it has been overrun by tourism and drunk Australian's making beasts of themselves.

The Balinese people are such warm-hearted and spiritual people, the temples and art of many kinds all around. The surfing is a small thing in Bali for me. When you can get waves without hundreds of people.
