Re: Pic of the day
These bastards are everywhere.
This is just off the Dripstone Cliffs in the Rapid Creek area in the Northern suburbs of Darwin.
Two weeks ago. Saw a few of them come out of the water. The demographic is the same as here.
And, for Steve. We watched this school of fish(about 2' long) swimming past us in Darwin Harbour. Then, all of a sudden, this happened. Don't know what they were eating but they kept it up for about 10 minutes in a fairly small area. Incidentally, they're talking about opening up the Mary River (Kakadu) for bara all year round.
Nice little wave off the back of the boat on the Adelaide River.
BUT...................
C'mon in. The water's fine.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

It was head butting the boat - a pretty big boat.

Re: Pic of the day
Matticus you have piqued my interest in you're neighbours reading habits. I now need to know what newspaper he subscribes to. Would you be so kind as to jump the his front fence in the wee hours of the morning and unravel the fine plastic wrapping around the delivered newspaper and let's know his preference? If he catches you and you have to explain your behaviour, just tell him a guy from the internet that you've never met wanted to know what you were reading. That should at the least put him on edge.
Maybe he'll cancel his subscription and you wont be woken in the wee hours by scraping tow bars and such.

You dont have to unwrap it, just pick it up and take a whiff
if its heavy and dense and smells like @#shole, its the Australian
if its plump and a bit soft to touch and smells like smug, its the SMH
if its thin and lean and has soy latte stains on it, its the Guardian
if its thick but really really lightweight with no actual writing on it, its the Tele
If it falls apart in your hands, its the Mercury

They spook me more than sharks.......but less chance of encountering one unless I'm in FNQ......or Darwin. Those SUPs would be breakfast.surfborges wrote:That croc eye gave me the chills!

Lovin this shot ...
The moving finger writes and having writ moves on ... now all thy piety nor wit shall lure it back to cancel even half a line ... nor all thy tears wash out a single word of it.

A very effective photo but .........I think that I have seen that pose before ..... In the 1960's?
