I initially made 6 clear mats.
But now I can't find them.

Because I can't work out how to post pics, it keeps saying the image is too big.

I saw a guy using one to kite surf on Pumicestone Passage a couple of weeks ago.
He was pretty good. Then he fell off. Seemed to have trouble getting up again.

They've got Kite foils, SUP foils and paddle-in shortboard foils now, it's just expanding into all sorts of surfcraft.

Why?
Unless you just want to go fast on choppy or unbroken waves, they remove the key sensation of slicing through the water.

I suppose it's the reason why we all drive different cars, it's something different, or becuase it's faster than a standard surfboard can go, its new, it's a new skill to learn. The slicing thru the water is accentuated because the foil doesn't jump and chatter it's really slicing, like a huge underwater razor blade.....hahaha

Well, they have to be towed in to a wave so yeah, they, by association, smell

I stand corrected. Looks like you paddle into waves with them.
Looks like an enjoyable niche for someone with plenty of dosh, or like TC with plenty of sponsors. Nice product surffoil.
