Apparently the Chinese bloke who bought SAAB is going to relaunch it sometime in the next year. They still have 100+ engineers working and the painting plant is running to avoid the costs of shutting down and restarting.

Hadn't bought a ford since I grew up riding around in falcons. Really liked the looks of the BA and the new engine sounded good. The second hand one I bought was up there with the worst cars I have ever owned and definitely the most expensive. The manager of the place I got it serviced called it the voodoo car and I don't live near Cronulla.

Shame all these companies are packing up and sacking workers just before the election. Hope they aren't planning to start up again and have a workforce on new contracts directly after the election.
