Well you gave it a go HappyR, you gave it a red hot go and that's all anyone can do, thats what me old Grandad said anyhow, bless his dearly departed soul. He was fond of a rum any time of day, particularly for brekkie if the wind was blowing from the right direction, which it often was in that part of the world. Oldest digger in Ingham when he died, Borneo and New Guinea, part of the magnificent 9th Division who pulled Montgomery's incompetent arse out of the fire in Tobruk.

Can't blame you if it's all too much nonense for you. Even fully trained university educated IT professionals struggle with it sometimes. No good for you staring at that small screen all day and drinking so much coffee.

Had a wonderful encounter with a mate of the missus last night. A young female gynaecologist who was visiting the area. I've got a big fin gash in the bottom of my foot right now and she offered to take a look at it for me, so I says, I says "No thanks, I'd like this gash to heal"
She laughed......thought she was gunna wet herself.
Nothing better than a female gyno with a sense of humour.

Anyways, thanks for the kind words of support chaps.

Why would any self respecting journo such as the "Outsider" post his work for free on a site that indulges itself in arbitrary censorship and banning of contributors :?:

Wow. Three posts Rod and you're right into it. If you have an issue with it, why are you here.
You're welcome BTW but I'd suggest you are sprouking about stuff which was happening long before you arrived on the scene.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Back to the topic, so who do we talk to so that you can get a more regular gig Steve? Swellnet? Surfing World?

I think us RSers will have enough combined clout, what do you think?

Dinosaur would have other ideas but we all know what hes going to say...

Greetings from Gundagai, I wrote a prologue for Bells. And found an internet cafe to post it up.
Cheers.

I just wanna say I'm glad that Dane "the messiah" Reynolds is poking the Slater bear with a stick, finally calling out Slater for his mind games. It annoyed me no end the game playing the media let Slater get away with over the last decade. It annoys me that so many of the media are towing the line on the Slater initiated denigration of the surfing of Parko and Fanning . Both are, apparently, limited surfers with good top turns...that's the Slater message....as opposed to himself of course. And in Fanning's case he's a hard working athlete of limited talent, which is fricking amazing since his limited talent had him winning WCT events even before he qualified, and top 5 from his first year, better than the current wonder kids have achieved. Funny how this narrative only emerged after AI lost interest and Slater's main competition came from...wait for it...Parko and Fanning, they of the limited surfing and limited natural talent.

There, said it.

I love Dane's in the lip carve/slash. Fantastic. It's a Fanning in the lip carve/slash with more commitment. Otherwise, to be honest, I just don't see that what he's doing is any better than a number of other pros on the tour. Plus he falls off a lot.

There, said that too.

I feel much better now.
