Just slapped sixty bucks down on a 2mm Needs jacket .
Looks a bargain ! Should do nicely to keep out a bit of wind chill.

Re: that wetsuit discussion...
Can someone recommend a steamer to save me reading through seventy-two pages.
I'm out of the loop re brands - was a lifelong Billabong man until I bought a cheaparse Local Knowledge a few years ago that fell apart after three surfs and have gone without the past couple of winters but I'm getting soft in my dotage.
Flexiblity in the shoulders over warmth is the only criteria.
Thanks in advance Gentleman and let's see if we can all be adults about this and not let it degenerate after a couple of pages into punching holes in wetsuits to facilitate anal sex with dolphins or wristies behind the shower block.

That's exactly what I'm saying, merks.
Re: that wetsuit discussion...
So Sunbird - you reckon a Triple-X ? Might head down Ballina now and see if he's got any end of line steamers for $60 left. I'll let you know how I go.

Has anyone got any experience with Triple-X? Australian company. Sale price of $325 for the top-of-the-line steamer.
Surely, if you're looking beyond the main players you'd consider a product from a local company.

Re: that wetsuit discussion...
I decided to pick up a second steamer and Need are all sold out. Found an O'Neill Fuze 3/2 for $160 delivered from Hyper.co.nz - they're on special at the moment.
Re: that wetsuit discussion...
Good price that, Needs new shipment avail July 30th, last container load sold out in 28 hrs .How many steamers fit in a 20ft sea container ? Seem to be a very sought after wetsuit.

Re: that wetsuit discussion...
it dipped to 19 here.
Re: that wetsuit discussion...
Was swimming off the west coast of Sweden last week and it was 18.
People were in bikinis and boardies. Meanwhile a kid fell off a sailing boat about 70m away and people were stressing out that she was going to get hypothermia.
I've got two 3-2 steamers that haven't got wet in 3 years except on trips or for snorkelling.
Though I do need a new springy

Re: that wetsuit discussion...
Does anyone know if a wetsuit deteriorates even if it is not used. Like is a new, but 2013 model going to have a significantly shorter life than a new 2015 one.
