light, flexible, warm and its nice to feel the water on your arms when you paddle.

Perfect for down here. Easier paddling but still keep your body warm in the colder water.

Prime Springy weather here at the moment. Just about up to rashie weather but not yet. The number of people in giggle hats out in the surf in the middle of winter is mind boggling. For some foamy riders it’s giggle hat and steamer…possibly with boots 365 days a year.
Some Asian learners even wear gloves.

I’m with Mr Pee Pee on this. Both have their advantages in different conditions. Water and air temp being the obvious factor.

SS steamer is a more comfortable feeling outfit for me.
Don’t have one at the moment though.
