Mark, a surfing mate of mine from up here spent 3 weeks at Angourie just before you went o/s recently. He remembered your EH and talked to you in the car park about quads.
BTW There's a nice EH up here, too.
And this gets me to and from the surf. My 9'3" yellow board will fi inside with the seats down.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

1971 VF Ute, known universally as "The Chock Monster" due to its powdery brown oxide paint. Bought it for $900 and a carton of VB. Sold it to a bloke that lives on the coast here a few years ago, and Mrs dug says "don't take less than $250". Guy says "how's $450?" and I said "yeah, I guess you can have it for that".

Re: Your surf rig...pics
i don't ride a kneeboard - it's just stu having a go. i'll never ride a kneeboard - the symbolism repulses me. anyway, the board's not even mine - i'm just taking it for an air and a pose. fuck you, stu! and who's this digger dickson, trev - wouldn't be a kneeboarder, would he?
Re: Your surf rig...pics
One of these
I've got roof racks on it to carry the board but it will fit in there as well.
I love this car, handles well, drives great, comfortable, great sound system, leather etc....
And it's a manual

No Al, Digger is up here at Coolum. Rides a short board or two. He's been known to carry one under his arm from Coolum to Noosa when his wife has the car. He posts on here from time to time.Lucky Al wrote:i don't ride a kneeboard - it's just stu having a go. i'll never ride a kneeboard - the symbolism repulses me. anyway, the board's not even mine - i'm just taking it for an air and a pose. **** you, stu! and who's this digger dickson, trev - wouldn't be a kneeboarder, would he?

Re: Your surf rig...pics
Good timing on this thread - I've been looking around for a new car.
I want something that will fit a 9'10" longboard in it! I wont necessarily drive with it in it, but would like to be able to take several boards to the beach and lock up what I am not using.

Don't name spots on the internet!!!
Re: Your surf rig...pics
In my Impreza, my yellow board is 9'4" and just fits. But there's a fair bit more room if I remove the centre fin.SDA wrote:Good timing on this thread - I've been looking around for a new car.

^ hO HO! We too dropped in at the "Pony Club" for the rodeo/gymkhana
the only car out of 7 to break down in last week's 4000k "Outback Camping" trip
Hope it works out for you, Butts. Sorry for my obvious gloating, 'twas more the driver of the disco that pipped me. No-one else on the trip consistently put me down than little mister know it all.
What is this putting people down routine, it was straight out of that TV show show with the disgusting judge who belittles the contestants.
