My eyes dont normally sting, I wasnt wearing sunscreen (or any other metrosexual face creams), the sun was at my back not in my face.
Any ideas? Was it me or the water?

Popped out at maroubra this afternoon to surf the crumbly wind-affected nonsense (desperate times) and I got real bad stinging eyes

Did the really shitte conditions hurt you on the inside? Did you feel the need unleash some emotion? The sting was probably caused by tears... I know that's how I feel ATM because of the current surf prospects.
