Hi crew,
Does anyone know of a wetsuit manufacturer, based in Australia, that actually glues and stitches the wetties in Australia? Most of the big companies eem to send theirs off to Asia to be made and I'm looking for a loacally based manufacturer with capacity to take on some additional work.
Alternatively does anyone know any contacts that could put me in touch with the manufacturers up in Asia?
Cheers

If you are looking for fully made in Australia, there is a small company on the Gold Coast Hwy at Broadbeach. Can't think of their name off hand but they are near the kite board shop and opposite the Asian grocery supermarket.
They make custom wetsuits on the premises. Their wetties look good. You can order different colour combos if required and different thicknesses.
Might be worth a try. (Maybe yellow pages can help with the name)
Good luck - support an aussie.

Re: Wetsuit manufacturer?
Thanks for the suggestions guys, my sister has patented a new type of orthopaedic brace for knees and ankles (uses neoprene) and is trying to get it mass produced to take it to market. Apparently Overlocking machines and Blind stitching machines that can be used for comemrcial quantities of neoprene are quite rare in Aus. QuikRipabong are manufactured in Asia and won't provide any infor re contacts, West surprisingly is also done in Asia.
