Only smells I get from wet stuff are when my wettie/ towel/ boardies go back in the car damp and stay there overnight.
But the smell of the wax overcomes that anyway.
I reckon I keep my boards longer than most people ( I'm a cheapskate  )and haven't yet noticed any degradation through leaving salt or water on them.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

For what it's worth, I just give the current ones a rinse if it's convenient. Never known a wet board to smell, but man the wettie bucket

On the other hand, leaf litter from the side of the house gets 'em slimey real quick. :D

^^Start a new thread. I have a thing or two to say about people who wear undies under their wetties.

Undies! Good god no.

Swimmers, nearly always. I find free-balling a little uncomfortable. Gotta hold those suckers in :!: :?:

Take it out and get it wet again I guess.

Then dry it again!

Use a towel!...that is brilliant. Here's me using a hair-dryer like a idiot. Thanks everyone, now I won't don't have to park on a hill every time I go for a surf. And I'll save a fortune on wax too.

I masturbate to stop my car smelling and my stick getting all slimy.

had nothing to do last night, so took my board out of my cover, wet it down then dried it off with a towel. plus I handpicked out all the grains of sand from my ankle strap, beauuuuutiful.

Thanks for such a important discussion point on the forum, always up for new ideas on how to look after my surfboards and keeping them in tip top shape.
no, Im not a surfer, Im just a garbage man".
