Jeez he won't win a medal for logical public speaking but I won't be the one delivering that message.

I don't know . sounds like the boys just wanna kick some top 44 ass, without "foreign blemishes".
Maybe send some clearasil over?

Finalists last year at Teahupo'o: Bruno Santos (Brazil) 1, Manoa Drollet (Tahiti) 2 (Manoa is sponsored by Billabong)

The water patrol is run by Viritau Teiva, who is the master pilot at Papeete Harbour, a native Tahitian and a long time surfer -- Viri organises the water patrol crew from his local crew

Been going to Tahiti since 1983, never heard any of the crew there complain about not being given a good shake by the event, heck it's the biggest sporting event of the year in French Polynesia

I'm sure the local crew are capable of handling their relationship with the event etc...just as the Pipe guys have done.
