the thought of driving from coledale to the farm and back looking for surf makes my head hurt.

at least you got a decent surf in at the end. that sounded very nice that last bit.

First surf today since my op.
Got three waves. All good pop ups and rides.
Thank God for muscle memory.
Aching now though.

Saw it getting winched up. Didn't realise it had gone right down.

Lucky it didn't kill someone. Three cars on tow trucks and Knotts Ave blocked off for hours.
Actually had a totally fcuked surf with a few massive kook outs and no other waves. Anyone watching could be forgiven for thinking I had just learnt to stand up.

nah it's a stock pic i screened off the lappy earlier after gettin back fr a surf without my phone, or smart watch* and seeing the fcukin thing go over and like, shit! a car just flipped over the rails and, wow, noone got smacked. freaky. *unlike some here.

Tons of fun here this morn.
Crowds are spread as there seems to be waves everywhere.

Had more fun yesterday on the fish.

Maroubra. That’s on the Gower Peninsula, right?

The fact that you’ve had to wait for about 8 months to do that kind of proves my point though eh. Pretty nice waves mind. Where did you surf champ? Any pics?

Week days are a challenge. I’ve changed jobs, though tomorrow I’m working from home.

There’s been plenty of swell about since your post the other day of “us needing to wait a month or so”.

Within less than 36 hours it was hitting a solid 6 feet at south facing reefs with waves about since.

How are your pretty little tiddlers going? Or point seldom? Tides and winds working in your favour?
