I just surfed where you did, blessed with a clean rock off. Good long walls.
Got 4 set waves from the big pine past the hut.
Was only out for 35min.
Only 5 of us.
Surfed the 6'6 lynchy.

Guy at work took possession of a custom 6'3" (?) protow a couple of weeks ago. He's a charger and tows in on a MC. Paddles big guns too. Instant gel with the PT. Reckons it's his go to for paddling anything with push from 3-8 ft. Bigger if he doesn't need the paddle power of a gun

Oh yes. Loofy has surfed Lennox Head. He first surfed it in the great July swell of 2001. He rode switch and dominated. Left the area the day Fanning showed up.
Next, June 2007. He was the only guy out in the first swell of that six weeks of carnage. Surfed all day then headed south, where the real power was being acted out.
He's surfed it a few times since, mainly on those days when it's been excellent but everyone else was still spooked by the white shark.
I think it is fair to say he has been overall the best surfer there this century.
