Pushing him late on a couple of sucky ones thinkin he hasn’t made it and then seeing him pop out on the shoulder and fly down the line. I think I was more excited than him.

Fucken hell right back there again gang, from 4' to 8-10' in an hour.
I can only hope plebeian didn't get a park because if he had paddled out at 2.30pm the Westpac helicopter would have been searching for him by 3.30.

Fucking bombing here, solid 8-10', bigger occasionally, not quite the last one but straighter and cleaner. Beautiful surf this morning by myself across the whole of Newport, the back reef then the gigantic beachie in front of the surf club. I missed it though because Avericks was going off!

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Switching SW/SSW until 3.30, swung S for about 20 minutes, then went SW. Pretty much clean all day.
Re: Where did you surf today ?
It was cranking down here!
lack of boards let me down today, my point board in ding shop lockdown after connecting with my head last swell. Ended up on Hatchies old Garrett twin, which felt entirely wrong and skittish, I was crying out for a 'stick the drop' thruster that set me up for the next section.
There were some really pushy waves waves coming through.
