Yeah, a bit too crowded today. The left up the beach was looking good if you were young, agile and a goofy.
South corner has been like an actual decent beach break for a while now. I've surfed the Bra more in the last two months than the last two years.

He's still going steady with Loofy. Wouldn't want to cut Loofs grass.

Given my performance today and Hatchies ability to catch 40 waves in 60 minutes I'm not sure there would be much chance to get a wave with the human Dynamo and an experienced wave hound like the Loofmeister. Unless I rode my mal of course.

First surf in 9 months. Took the old mal out. Felt a bit wobbly at first but it came together pretty quickly. Actually caught a stack of waves. Just nice to be out paddling around in the sun.

I ride a mal like a shortboard. Probably looks really shit. I really don’t like them but I’ll take what I can get.

Two attempts this week in constant onshore wind - at least the water is warm.

I went out for a dawny yesterday on my shortboard. Little wobbly NE swell all to myself. Felt just like before my break. No paddle fitness of course, but I was very happy. Just like riding a bike I guess.

well, I can not ride a bike for 20 years and get back on and I'm fine.

I don't surf for 2 weeks and I'm a kook.

you lose surf fitness, skill and timing very quickly without constant practise.

so opposite of riding a bike.
