I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Gordons Bay surfer found alive
In fact he got out and went home, didn't know there was a search on, called the cops next day (today). People are always calling the police because they think the person is in trouble.

Surfed this morning at Newport by myself, I was actually sketched by this even though it was kind of epic. Then went down to the Bower with Tom, we were thinking Queensie Bombie but ended up surfing Bower etc. On totally the wrong board (9'8" bombie killer). A too big board is as big a no go as a too small one, maybe even more irritating. You just can't sit where you should. But! whatever still fun.

Going surfing again now back at Newport, swell has retreated a bit from its phenomenal morning levels.

Bower looked big in the Webcam.
Common occurance when they get stuck between Tama and Bronte. It looks sketchy, people call the cops, the guy has got washed around and got out but the cops are listening to someone who hasn't seen that happen. Fcuk all they can do if they do get stuck in there really.

I think old mate Marcus used to complain about this a bit up at Newcastle on a big swell!

Yeah well then it went fucking mad again down here, this swell is gonna run and run

legion I rarely surf for more than 90mins in normal conditions. Maybe 3hrs on a really good day then I'll get out and have something to eat and drink etc, then surf again. I don't gain anything from super long surfs, I like to re-set. In warm to tropical waters though I will stay out longer for sure.

ha ha o55 we looked at Curly on the way to Bower and thought, hell it looks like normal Curly except five times bigger and 400m offshore

I’m so stoked with my Psycho1 I bought recently. The batwing is actually the rear panel, and the back zip panel is attached to that, so you don’t feel it. Fits like a glove too.

Agreed. I have rarely felt the need to surf for seven hours straight. Even when I was a grommet and frothing I would come in for a Chiko Roll. In Summer or the Tropics you would be mad.

Avoca was out of control spectacular. Raw energy, massive. Uncompromising.

I mind surfed a few 15 ft sets. I then went home and lay under a blanket with my eyes wide open thinking about being out there.
