I'd get a 6'1" Haz short and a 5'10" Haz fish.

Reckon it’s worth taking an inch off the fish.

Yep, same bank as yesterday but with a little less tide so better.

Comfortable to call it 6 foot easy, well overhead, maybe double on the sets and the banks holding it easily.

Normally northern beaches is crap on a south swell but between the rain causing all the lagoons to flood and the strong weekend swell, the banks are in primo condition.

Looks like the whole weekend is a smorgasbord of waves!

Had a surf at one of my favorite novelty waves this morning. When I was paddling out I noticed a slab of the rock shelf was getting exposed before the end of the wave broke on the inside. Made a mental note to be careful if I caught a long one. Got a few. Then got the longest wave and thought I better tack right at the end to avoid the rock platform. Then the wave sucked out exposing the rock platform and I landed flat on my back on top of it.
