Bondi was packed. Rip bowl at the south end and an odd right hander right out in front of The Bergs running into the rock shelf at the end.

Last two days. Ok.

Water is toasty today.

Surfed for 3-4 hours today. Was quite buggered by the end due to nightmare drag in the water. But, it got pretty clean and fast after the sickness cleared. Couldn’t leave it.

Went for a drive down the Coal Coast. Too windy, crowded and fcuking hot. Ended up going for a paddle back at Bondi. Why are there so many people hanging out down there. Cafes full. Heaps of people at the beach. As bad as the Eastern Suburbs.

Lol you drove all the way down the gong, didn’t surf, only to arrive back at Bondi for a go out? You’re really a struggler aren’t you

You do shite like that all the time. I was thinking about that when I was down there. Imagine if that was your everyday surf experience. I’m sure you would have gone out at about three places I looked at. Less wind affected at Bondi. The Farm would be the only comparable spot and we weren’t driving that far.

No I never do shit like that. Drive down empty handed then drive back and paddle out at Bondi

You just don’t know where to look. With today’s conditions there’d have been a few decent spots on down there.

If you’re this retarded and clueless, still, after all these years, then yep, just stay put where you are

Not my point at all. Basically went for a drive since the Missus took the day off. She had to be back by three thirty. I’m sure you could spend a day hunting for a wave and I’m wondering why you would think I would know as many spots as someone who is there every week of every year. You’re the man though, Hatchie.

Beans, reckon you’re slightly addicted to your local. Like it feels more comfortable than other places down the road. I reckon it’s a common phenomenon. Solid drive

To tell the truth I just didn’t think it was worth unstrapping the mal and putting it back in after. Thought I couldchuck it in the back at Bondi. Still edging back into surfing at the moment. I’m very aware I could put myself in a dodgy situation that I normally wouldn’t give a second thought to. Getting better though. Nice around the Coal Coast. Sharkies looked half okay but fairly crowded.

If I was to move back to NSW. That’s where I’d buy.

A lot of new houses and plenty of Renos. Used to hang a fair bit at a place some mates rented at Stanwell Tops years ago. Plus it’s always been a standard surf run down to the boat ramp when I get sick of closing out beach breaks and want to surf a decent right hand point break. Old mate and I had some classic times hitting there and then The Scarborough Pub on the way back. It looks a lot more expensive these days.
