Warriewood. 1 to barely 2 foot of wind mush. Still surfable and kinda fun. Zippy little rights with just enough size and pocket to sprint along and float sections and do the odd turn here and there. Water temp is nice.

Because of track works at the moment the train to MQ uni (for wife) is a headache. So I drove her there instead and hit the NBs for a surf

Groan.....drove down with the foamy. Two drives through and no parks. 45 minutes later we parked up the top of the cutting at Bronte and had a swim. Probably would have paddled out if the car was closer.

Couldn’t make a case for it.

I gotta get me a mid-length or mal.

Small clean DY 1-2 ft
on a 8-1 mid length
Caught a stack of peaks that ran through to the shore
Not bad for what looked like a flat day
Same. Caught a couple on my Simon fish but was struggling on that and should have taken a mal.

I remembered that post of yours. I amost added that I didn't think Salty was amoung them but I couldn't be sure from the top of the cliff.

They are all just walking back now.

I'm just going out to Temples, if it fires up its a great little wave even at knee high. No-one out atm and conditions are perfect but still too low to know if its going to work.

Coastalwatch was frothing. Went down for a look this arvo. Solid sets closing out the length of the beach with 150-200 guys out.
What are they doing. Low tide.
Bronte was holding some big sets with a solid crowd.

I'm sure they were. This arvo looked choice as well.......except it's low tide and the 200 odd people out there had a one in two hundred chance of not getting dropped in on and/or flogged.

The Farm. 3-4 foot and super fun. Left and right peaks rolling through wave after wave after wave. Period and size was just right. Slight hint of east in the swell.

Surfed the 7’6 and got plenty that ran all the way to the beach. Couple of roundhouse cutbacks on the inside bowl. That carverley surfboards fella was out there on 6’9 pintail twin fin surfing smooth, flowing seamlessly.

Think general rule for shorter boards is the back of the side bites line up with the front of the middle fin. Neal Purchase told me that.
Thud when you say "back of the side bites" do you mean the back of the tip or of the base?

I believe it''s the rear of the base of the side bites with the front of the base of the centre fin.

Depending on the shape of the fin, that will make the trailing edge of the bites more or less line up with the leading edge of the centre.

Here's a parmenter shaped for Tom Curren.
