Finally got out there around lunchtime - some good waves to be had but pity the northerly wind.

Got some of the best waves Ive caught this year on Tuesday and today. Scored a few big drops and long walls. Sorry for posting under Where Did You Surf Today on a social surfing forum if that offends anyone :P

RNP beachbreak. Chest to occasional head high ripbowl peaks. Sloping righthanders running at an angle towards the ENE swell.

Surfed the 6’4 rounded pin single. On the better ones i could drive the board deep out of the pocket, then link up two or three cutbacks all the way to the sand.

Only two other people out.

A few good waves today. Tomorrow is supposed to be nearly 5000kJ, I'll believe that when I see it.

Its 5am, still dark, theres a gentle rain falling. A 2.5m, 19s, 4600kj swell is supposed to be out there - 15' faces?

If there is there'll soon be a bunch of nervous surfers, most under gunned, standing around in the pre-dawn light on the Single Fin balcony. Love that tension in the air when there's a big swell. I'll go check it out.

Surfed some fun lefts yesterday arvo.
A decent sized pointer cruised through and me and the traveling Queenslander thought it was probably best to go in.

Apparently there was a whale washed up at one of the back beaches near Crescent. Sharks spotted hovering around.

Cronulla beachies. Chest to a little overhead and kinda building. A bit fat but some long walled up offshore peelers. Surfed a single fin because i couldn’t think of a good enough reason not to. Early roll in to a highline for about thirty metres, then a cut down and fade back into the pocket for the reform run close to shore. Rinse and repeat.

Surfed the Point solo with my wife. It was hilarious. Divine.

She got the wave of her life and was high as a kite for hours.
