Re: Where did you surf today ?
Lots of fun this morning. more fun than a pillow case stuffed to the brim with penises, i imagine.
Re: Where did you surf today ?
I was out there Sunday morning - from now on if anyone says hello to me I'm going to call them Buddy...buddy wrote:Lennox boat channel this evening, alone. Was watching a few storm cells move by east and west, and then got hit by one. Was really cool, just sitting out there laughing.
The wind and rain got so heavy I could barely see.
Just as it was starting I could see a SUP paddling out across the lagoon and by the time he was halfway the full force of the storm hit.
It didn't deter him, he kept paddling full on into the wind and rain. When he got out we were both having a laugh. He was wearing boardies and a balaclava hood; like he came just for the storm show.
Would have been tough for the guys at the point to come in on the rocks when you can't see, and be super slippery too.

The moving finger writes and having writ moves on ... now all thy piety nor wit shall lure it back to cancel even half a line ... nor all thy tears wash out a single word of it.

Northern beaches with the left over glass off after the morning rain - good fun and only a few out.

the developer who owned their site, raised their lease to ridiculous levels ... they wouldn't/ couldn't pay. then the developer kicked them out, then put in a submission to develop into a highrise with council.
then the developer went tits up bankrupt ... and now the site sits there abandoned with a 'for lease sign' out the front but not one business willing to accept the ridiculous lease fee.
a beautiful little establishment, with rich surfing culture, went to the wall for more gold coast misplaced greed.
Re: Where did you surf today ?
El rancho's one legged denim dungarees along with his beard oil have since been retired.
