The southerly was already into the spots I was hoping for. And looked a bit smaller than yesty too. Was probably a few bombs but fucked if you'd be expecting to be in position for them.
Might join the hordes at the pass this arvo and check out the festival.

I see in your article you gave wayne lynch local status, he's only been there at best two years. What sort of standards do they have up there? Anywhere else he'd still be a blowin for a long time to come.
Good read, but using a quote from lynchy and the term tribal elders nearly made me throw up, but I suppose you had to give it that byron bay flavour. :-D-:

I expect young benny will be wishing he had not had that passport like photo on $wellnet for all these years
Can someone point me to this article (pun not intended)

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Nothing epic but fun sized and wackable with some head dips on offer. North of jervis. Walked 300 metres further up the beach and had a bank all to myself

Near a river? Was tempted by your report yesterday, though I expected some SSE wind this am so went to the gym. Been almost dead calm since I got up. Typical

South of gerroa and near a river. The whole stretch is pretty decent and clean. Get amongst it if you can. Plenty of refracted south swell getting in, as it's low period and there's some east in it.

Looks great! I've just walked around Barrack Point and there's waves a plenty -think i might give Warilla or Sharkies a go on the dropping tide. Hope the wind stays ssw.

Sloppy and wind affected but still plenty of overhead sets rolling through out of the east. The rights were pretty shapeless though managed to jag a few punchy left ripbowls and let go with some satisfying backhand belts.

Lennox boat channel this evening, alone. Was watching a few storm cells move by east and west, and then got hit by one. Was really cool, just sitting out there laughing.

The wind and rain got so heavy I could barely see.
Just as it was starting I could see a SUP paddling out across the lagoon and by the time he was halfway the full force of the storm hit.

It didn't deter him, he kept paddling full on into the wind and rain. When he got out we were both having a laugh. He was wearing boardies and a balaclava hood; like he came just for the storm show.

Would have been tough for the guys at the point to come in on the rocks when you can't see, and be super slippery too.
