Yeah. Probably a hole around snapper by the looks of it but total perfection from little Marley through greeny

A ridiculously crowded, not worth the shit fight thing. Plus a day of complete rest.

the deep water hold downs are pretty solid though, when it's bigger than it was today.

yeah avoiding the peaks is the key to the easy paddle out and not getting clipped on take off to avoid the heavy water hold downs is the secret out there.

i remember one day it was 5-6ft, and breaking right out the back as it does, and then reforming on the mid bank all the way into a shorey closeout. musta been close to a hundred metre rides if you linked the three sections together.

still one of my best surfs on the goldy, ever.

Ya spot on there Shep, Tugun through to Bilinga has the worst surf on the Goldie. To even attempt to surf that stretch of beach you'd have to be a complete moron, an incomplete one even.

Yeah, he's like that guy in Chariots Of Fire. :-D-:

Monawatu wasn't perfect today but that didn't prevent it from being unpleasantly crowded early morning.

I give in LPJ. Who are you?????
But yes, Bigger this morning. I didn't see it at high tide.
Had a look at Carties. Insane stuff with just a few crew out very wide. The stuff rolling in on the south side of Pt Cartwright with the wind behind it was massive.
The usual mad crew of boogers and body surfers in the shore break between the boat ramp and the southern steps at about 1 pm.
Ha no one special mate but I just couldn't believe my eyes, wanted to know if maybe you caught it. I was paddling back out and stood up on my board to catch what I could of it. There's some hellmen lurking. Oh well. So hard to get motivated to surf after Fri morn :/

surfed some sneaky reefs on the weekend south of Sydney...

Friday arvo, very packed at one of the few spots handling the wind, long waits for head high plus fun, ditto Saturday morning.

Saturday arvo, paddled out at a more exposed reef with only 10 out, the boys on the mals had the big advantage with the early roll-ins. Some serious size to be sure and the boys were calling out the sets (to hide their fear) which was fairly hilarious. I got a screamer, a few take offs and a few on the head...all good fun really.

Sunday morning, right and left hand reef. Glassy, 4-5ft, about as good as it gets. Happy crew and the wind stayed off till late morning.

Sydney NBs. Suffice to say that this morning's waves are not as good as coastalwatch say they are.

Nowhere. Spent Sat at a kids' party right on the beach at Corrimal then Sunday morning at Warriewood watching my boy at nippers. Not a single wave for me :(
