Just Bondi....which of course means anything halfway decent in size closes out. held size much better yesterday. pretty sunburned around the eyes or I would contemplate the late. Maccas looked good but try and find a park.

i surfed right through the middle of all that, this morning on my 6'0" hps ... so many moments where i thought I was dead. literally thought my life was about to end.it's a steep price to pay for perfect 2-ft peelers.

the longboarders are still worse than the sup'ers out there.

Just surfed the local point , first go-out back from Fiji. Had the light northerly on it, two people out: one hapless but friendly girl and a kneelo sitting down the inside. The sandbar is A+ and the long period swell was drawing. Rode the wife's pink widetailed McT 2+1 6'4". Every bottom turn slip sliding out of control, every top turn a whoopsy daisy. It was fun as hell until I started imagining dark shapes coming out of the glare. Water felt as warm as Fiji.

Didn't you nearly come to blows with a local bogan over that board's pinkness?

Wouldn't a pink board attract sharks?

Why was the board slip sliding about ? Tail too wide ? Rocker too flat ? Not enough fin ?

Early arvo with the hapless kooks to finish off the swell. Water refreshing.

Mostly dicking around on a beachie by myself on my 6'6 stubbie singlefin. Tried taking off switch at one point.

Beautiful morning, it was weird out there, it was deadly quiet but i could feel a sort of gold shimmering hum through my body. The sun hung low on the horizon for longer than it usually does, it seemed.

Last wave a sweet A-frame came right to me so I got pitted on the take off and went in.

I imagine you surfing in an open short sleeve shirt, flicking your straggly hair about without a care in the world that only someone born into a trust fund account could have.
