How big on sunset Cranked?
Well overhead. No one was anywhere near enough outside to have ago at them. Don't know what's happening at the more exposed Ulus breaks.

I better sneak an early one tomorrow, the late afternoon is way beyond my league if it hits the predicted 4000kJ

Double overhead sets coming through at Ulus. Offshore and glassy, moving into high tide.

Bommy is breaking, one guy out. A couple at outside peak and outside corner.

Swell supposed to be filling in all day and the wind stays offshore. A dozen out at Padang, good barrels, no need to tuck in.

Too big for me, I'll just watch.

No more booties! Still pretty fresh, but not icy.

Ha, first surf in a springy this season. Fcuking insanely crowded. Had to go through twice to get a park. I was about to give up and go home. Late start due to a Zoom. Surf comparatively uncrowded. Caught a few and got out. Then they put the flags up there. Safe at home now. Fcuking circus.

Yes, had a bank to myself 6-8am
Well not that great a bank on its own but a very shallow one and when the right peak came there were pumping lefts and rights.

Looks fun.

But fuck it looks sharky. Something about the colour of the water.

I think it's just familiarity desensitisation.
Like, I don't think I'd rock up and paddle out at Blacks Elliston if no one was out.

It was pumping all along the coast this morning ... I had two surfs before midday.

Wind was supposed to be easterly up here.
Straight offshore until about 10 am then very light onshore.

Shortish period but good size for a club comp.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Steve didn’t say it would be Easterly up there.

“Lighter, more variable winds are expected in SEQLD. Plenty of fun sized E/NE swell to 3ft with the occ. bigger set in SEQLD. You’ll need to find a backbench to deal with the N’ly flow in NENSW, it should be light enough to deal with in SEQLD.“

BOM said easterly overnight and staying the same but lighter during the day.
