Re: Where did you surf today ?
The Hook at Cruz.
Some arsehole hit me right in my arse crack with his longboard fin as he speared through white water into a crowd! Hurts like a mofo.
Then I got utterly fcuking slammed on a bomb wave that sent me back over the falls and buried me.
After that I decided to hang around the outside and get some dregs.

Crowds and skill is way higher than where I am from. It's taking some getting used to, my wave count per session has dropped considerably. Apparently lots of people have taken up.surfing due to COVID here - which would be on par with Australiasteve shearer wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 5:42 pmhows the level of surfing there Groots?

Localism is not too bad. Just words being shouted when someone does something stupid that they deserve to hear about. Funny thing about it is Californian accents sound kind of soft to me so maybe it's more intense than I think. Either way I try and stay out of trouble.

The late session was pretty fun, improved since this morning both in size and quality.

Yeah but I’ve got massive cock and don’t drive a brand new Nissan Patrol which indicates that you are in fact both stupid and have a small dick.Thud wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 10:38 am“Thumbelina, Thumbelina tiny little thingjimmy wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 11:39 pmNot yet mate. I’m 174cm and 74kgs though Boo will probably correct me. Haven’t ridden a twinny for ten years or so. Still would’ve preferred to get a Super Twin but it feels really nice under foot. Come to think of it. There was also a bunch of 20ish girls in tasteful swimming attire that cheered me as I came out of the water. And the lifeguard hi fived me as I ran past his tower.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
