I'm blowing the trumpet for my client here but as long as you can get past crabmeat's Russian literature type surf reports, Surfline is killing. There's a random cam of the day thing on the front page and a coupla days ago it featured a spot called Abalone St in Nag's Head, NJ. V late arvo there, early here. Abalone St was PUMPING. Right barrels just pouring down a succession of cool little sandbars, moderate offshore, nobody out. I just sat there watching and tripping on the whole idea of watching a surf spot on the other side of the world, mid winter pumping, and all the local crew being at home v sensibly hiding from the 40F water temp and sub zero wind chill, while I was mind surfing their spot.
