Really good waves down here. Two surfs today, overhead sets mostly, good banks around and hardly any wind.

That'd be good.

Very, very good for the dawnie. Little less tide would have made it epic.

Still a few bigger ones in the middle here. Its a quick closey wave is the old Avoca beachy. I surfed DY for the first time in ages last week at say 4ft, it was cruisey in comparison.

Took a drive down to a well known Coal Coast point break and managed to snare a couple of waves in between the grommets and their dads on too short HPS boards. Fucking lot of cars on the coast road. Surf wasn't really that crowded by comparison. Parking was okay too.

Some pumping surf around today. Crowds not really a factor either.

I found it relatively kook free here this morn - they seemed kettled like BLM protesters northish. And yesty too. In fact, even ring ins seemed absent. Maybe too busy delivering brunch on electric pushies, or they travelled intra state, 'toote bong Byyyron'! ...
However the food market, as i walked past yesty was choka block. So any cnut who had an issue with the protest gathering can suck a Souths Scarf covered dcik.
Fave conditions, no wind, gud soize, not bhed.

It's the same up here.
Think it's a combination of things.

Some regulars have lost their jobs so they're turning up more often and earlier.
Some are on the jobkeeper program so can get in a couple of hours early.
Some who work in Brisbane are now working from home (as are some locals). Which means a good couple of hours to surf before logging on for the day.

Can only hope they all go back to work soon and leave the waves to their rightful owners.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Well I'm not working full time currently so I'll make the most of it.

And walk down the hill to your local, it's pretty good.

Glad Skip had a good time eArly. I went out about 11:00 and it was a fucking circus. The left up from the Pav was the spot but it was being hit hard and insanely crowded. Decided to paddle over to the right but that was a complete hoax. Ended up drifting back up and managed to snare a good one to come in on. Most of the big ones were closing out and you would still have about five guys paddling into it as it approached the main pack. Not for the faint hearted or crowd averse.
