with that length of recovery time I suggest prayer, but make sure you use a pillow to kneel on ....

and maybe get your a$$ to the sports clinic at narra for some quick fix advice ....

good luck ....

RICE

R-est
I-ce (not the bad stuff)
C-ompression
E-levation

thats your bread and butter for any acute musculoskeletal injury of the sort...i also suggest maintaining a painfree range of motion and keeping some sort of movement in the joint, as opposed to a complete immobiliaztion

once you see 6ft ruler edge ulu lines stacked to the horizon you wont even remember your knee

have a good trip dude

Gently knead  your knee  , just enough to locate the damage and give it some warmth and slight pressure still holding the whole area.

I hope your travel insurance is paid up. Did you declare a pre-existing condition?

if the knee is still sore in bali, head for karamas, while checking the area ,cover said knee with the black sand for as long as possible, the dry heat zaps the moisture from knee..thats what the local bike stack mob do..paddle out,get a 5 second bazz full figure 8 cutty if your knee is sore still, drop the coin on a indo doctor go the codine but no bintangs

Steroids, Gumby!
Have you had any scans etc?
As said above ice for the 1st few days and depending on the prob either keep it moving or isolate and restrict movement with bandage.

Go to the Doctor cause you may be able to persude him to give you some voltarin 50's which you will then feel no pain. If not you get get voltarin 25's over the counter at the chemists. Gets me through most over 35's soccer games. 8)
