Check out these locals in Malibu!

Post by Marine Jacket Spud » Mon Jun 23, 2008 10:58 pm

There are paparazzi on the beach in Malibu and the local surfers tell em to hop it, resulting in a slight scuffle...

I like the part where the pot-bellied surfer screams at the paparazzi: "get a real job!". 8)

That’s actually quite funny. Malibu is such a mellow place generally and to hear "common...one on one...me and you" is quite funny. Obviously people like 2ndreefer and Cliff wouldn’t.... but i do.

Personally I f-cking hate the paparazzi and at the same time I also don’t give 2 hoots about celebrity or their lives. I think generally speaking its people with no lives who want to escape their own mundane existence that read that cr-p. I mean seriously who f-cking cares who Mathew is sleeping with at the moment ? Who f-cking cares that he went out for a surf at Malibu ?
Brain dead people do. Get a life !

p.s Dissapointed in the surf. Going for another look soon.

Bogan is as bogan does.

"come on, we'll fight you one on one for the rights to the beach, all 20 of us."

Pathetic doesn't even come close. In their dreams they might rise to the dizzy heights of pathetic.

Have to agree kk, it is funny, paps versus beach bums. Can't help but squirm in my seat watching it though. I didn't get enough of the schadenfreude gene to enjoy that.

I have to laugh at haoles from hawaii who have taken on the collective mentality that, if at all, only belongs to the indigenes.

F-ck, get a culture!

Oh Puurri, I spent a few years of my life surrounded by these types. I feel their shame on their behalf. Again - pathetic.

I have spent many years associated with Paparazzi and worked along side them on many an occasion, (I was a news cameraman) plus my old man is a journo who would count some of his best mates as Paps (don't hold it against him). Anyway, i digress if someone paid you $5k for a photo of Matt McConaghey comin out of the surf would you do it? Farken oath you would. Why would they pay you $5k ? because all your wives, girlfriends and sisters are buying No Idea and Womans Day because there's a pic of buff Matthew McConaghey comin out of the surf !

Don't shoot the messenger!

Must admit I could never do that job, you really feel part of an evil and shallow machine oh and don't feel too sorry for the celebs, that kind of exposure is a vital part of their PR, in fact I have a good friend in celebrity pr who calls photographers to let them know where their celebrity client is having lunch.

"When Paps Attack" would make a great show, the paparazzi, after years of being hit with handbags and drunken verbal abuse can take no more and take on uppity hollywood upstarts ... excellent viewing

Go back to the Valley haoles  I have no opinion on who is at fault etc as I reckon they're all a bunch of stupid Seppo cnuts. Reasonable entertainment value tho. Should have locked them all in a cage and watched them go at it. Who got the Panasonic :?: :!:
