I wasn't one of the mean girls. I was only at school for as long as i had to be. As soon as the bell rang i was out of there so i could do my own thing, heading down to the beach.
I never bought into that 'clicks' BS, had my group of friends but didn't make the effort to keep in touch after we graduated.
However, i did have a few catty run-ins during my time in school...not my fault

I turned up on the assumption that perhaps, douchebags from school may have changed in the real world, and it was all going ok for a few people, then I met the dux of the year/head boy/resident douchebag and went to shake his hand and say gday, to which he ignored me and started telling the person I was chatting to that he was down in melbourne, had studied medicine, was married, and was considering a specialisation in anethetics because that's where the REAL money is "HAHAHAHAHA"...
About then I sat down with my best mate who had also been somewhat ostracised for having his hair down to his hips and a beard by all the lawyer/doctor cutouts, and we got so drunk that I got kicked out 5 times, I found him on one of those times sleeping on the stairs outside, then we started walking home from North Sydney and got about an hours walking down the Hwy before realiseing it wasn't the best idea and getting a cab.
To this day we're still getting flashbacks of things neither of us remember.
School reunions are great.
I'm guessing that sort of behaivour could only come as a result of GPS/CAS self indulgent superiority. My old school does one every 5 years, and always does it on the weekend of the big footy grudge match against their old rival school.
Luckily i've still got 4 more years before I have to face that gaggle

Yes but no, Buffet. Just tried to fit in, bit like now really.Buff_Brad wrote:ric.?........def the sporty.
Oi Buffet, there was some (young) MD of a mining company on ABC the other day, among other things he said they were taking on ANZ for the Opes debacle. Don’t think the story is over yet.

Well the Priest's wouldn't have helped......or maybe they did?
No , not over yet. Definitely not counting one's chickens but it is looking better and better as time goes on. It's all very interesting even for someone directly affected I must say. My sources say the ANZ legal team is not the happiest camp in the world at the moment. But they still are representing a very powerful and controlling organisation. Nice to feel the ANZ cnuts shaking in their booties though and Mike Smith is of-course starting to distance himself as well as trying to deflect the Opes issue with expansion plans into Asia blah blah.......should get our resident Soldier Of Fortune to take him out.....shiit am I allowed to suggest such a thing???ric_vidal wrote:Yes but no, Buffet. We've been through this before BB, but my upbringing was actually pretty sweet. However you're incorrect, the priests were very accomodating, always happy to lend a hand, but unfortunately there arent many left. Not that i'm willing to line up and join, just find it sad that soon there will be no one left to fill the void.
To me the church needs to relax a lot of it's rules, including it's stance against priests marrying, and also of homosexuals and pre marital sex. I just dont understand why one of the major sacraments is not allowed to be undertaken by the exact people who have to preside of the ceremony?
But I wouldn't want to get off topic, especially not in this thread
