I hope it's somewhere remote enough to not have an internet connection

You just never know how things will go in life...
First place we stayed at, the woman fell pregnant at 19, stayed with the father for 7 years, then got married, only to divorce 2 years later.
Second place we stayed at, the couple had been friends for a while then got married after two weeks of dating and have been together for over 5 years.
Never any guarentees no matter how long or short a time you are together..so i'm willing to move over to NZ and see what happens.
I'll only be 3 hrs away

All a bit sudden isn't it.
I hope all goes well but I would try moving to NZ first before comitting to marriage. Seems like some strange form of punishment getting married and moving to NZ.

Besides, told the man i am only staying in NZ for a year at the most and then we'll return back to Sydney and get married soon after(on a pontoon in Tahiti with guests looking on from canoes

Nah man...after almost a month travelling around the north island and things being pretty damn laid back i had a rude shock coming back to work and facing Sydney crowds.
I forgot how sh*thouse it is
