Sailing trip through the South Pacific...

Post by oldo_nicho » Sat May 17, 2008 4:15 pm

Hi there,

I am going to be heading over the Chile in just under three weeks, from there I am meeting with a friend of a friend and spending the next seven months sailing back to Australia across the Pacific. I am not completely sure on the exact itinerary, but we will certainly be heading to the Juan Fernandez Islands (Robinson Crusoe Islands) then to Easter Island, up to Tahiti and then west from there across through Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, etc.

Can anyone give me any advice on places that I should certainly check out along the way?

Really bloody excited about the trip!

Sorry if I don't reply straight away, I am out of town for the week...

Cheers guys...

Marshall Islands if you head north enough. Pretty amazing and nobody much around........prob like the rest of the places you visit. Farrk sounds like an incredible trip.

Updates along the way if you can please. Good luck oldo-nicho.

Make sure you check out the comfort pig, not the cabin boy.
7 months on a boat beats the hell out of working.

Man that is the dream trip! Make the most of it, and above all be safe.

Does the yacht have scuba aboard for when you hit the atolls?

This isn't the type of thread that you want to read at 8.30am on a monday whilst sitting in an office in the CBD.

Bastard...
