When I was very young I always wanted to go to New Zealand but I was always scared the natives where going to eat me.

^^^^I think you mean Chatham Islands and it was the Moriori that were eaten by the mainland Maori's

You are right of course. The Chathams were populated some time before the 11? big canoes brought the rest.

you will be smack bang in the middle of the NZ Pacific Oyster season.. so with the abundance of New Zealand Pacific Oysters, they may not have an appetite at all :shock:

Went there years ago. Pubs closed @ 9, TV coled @ 10 and you had to be 21 to drink.
Pretty place, pretty boring place.

Do they still sell Barbara Hughes boards these days?
