I don't wear a watch anymore . With my phone I have the time , tides , torch , calculator , camera , video , music , etc all in one .With life proof case you can even just put it in board shorts while you surf .

Have a tide chart on the fridge, have had one for years. Given my lack of time between work and young kids, tide doesn't really factor into when I surf anymore. Now it's all about when I can find a short window to get in the water.
