Treehuggers etc.

Post by Tills » Thu Sep 27, 2007 11:04 am

Sorry to make another boring wax thread, but does anyone here use that Treehuggers was or similar?

Tbh I'll pretty much just grab whatever happens to be at the store I walk into. Sex wax if I have a choice. But I've sort of been thinking if I can use something that's better for the ocean and everything in it, it's hardly any skin off my nose.

But is it/are they any good? Sure it might be free of harmful by-products etc, but I wont use it if it's no good.

I got a heap of it to test. so far it has been great! real grippy. had it on one board 5 surfs only having to comb it up a bit on the 4th and 5th surf.

two potential problems:
-The wax is yellow so can make your wax job look old (for you showponies)

- A friend says it feels like the sort of wax that slicks over badly prety quickly. (I am still yet to notice this)

It is enviro friendly though and they donate proceeds to surfrider.
