Do you always get waves from a typhoon? and how long does the swell last? 6/7 in one month sounds alright - like swell almost all month.

We often got 6/7 days out of a swell, tho doesnt happen often these days. The last two years have been diabolical watson and I have had to kick the shit out of numerous dogs and cats( well wooda if Id seen em) to relieve the frustration of the 2/4 day swells we have had.

Its been pretty much the same over here - looks like its coming on, might get 5' or 6' for a couple of hours one morning then its all over again.
But from what you're saying it sounds like you get some pretty good runs of swell if the typhoons are working. Didn't realise they got so many in a season. I'll go 29 if noones taken it. (is there even that many weeks left in the season?!? ... )

Correctly guess the number of typhoons generated in the western Pacific diz year and ya'II win a japanese somethin or other(not a donkey-the losers are the donkeys!). I will send the award to the chimp with the winnin selection. There will only be 50 numbers-names allotted(2-50). One person per number. We got a few names already. LAst day for entry will be the 13th o May. I will post the numbers not yet selected on Tuesday.
For the record there has been 1 typhoon so far this year.
